It was announced atterwards by tho Utah Construction company, vlnoh ia said to havo tho contract for tho entiro line, that it would have GOO teams on tho work by November 1. It was addod tho greater part of tho outfit would bo brought irom !Minot, S. J). It was supposed tho road would go into Lcwislon, but tho information about tho profiles indicates indi-cates it wiH keep on tho west side. Lato Saturday night tho following special was also received by Tho Trib-uno Trib-uno from Boiso, Ida.: "Vfilliam Ash-ton, Ash-ton, chief engineer of the Oregon Short Line, arrived hero this evening. He states that no contract has yot been let on tho Northwestern road between Huntington aud Clarkston. 'Wo havo not yet reached that point,' ho said in reply to an inquiry." |
