Princess Alexandra Alexan-dra Victoria of SchleMwig-Jlolstein-Sonderbcrg-Glucksburg has been betrothed be-trothed to Prince Augustus William, fourth son of FOmpcror William. Princess Prin-cess Alexandra is the second daughter of Duke Frederick of Sehleswig-llolstciu-Soiidcrbcrg-Glucksbnrg. The princess is just completing her education under private tutors. Prince Augimtus is a student nt Bonn, The Emperor has thought about sending Prince Augustus to an American university, possibly Tlarvarrl. but it docs not appear that ho has iruulo up his mind on the subject. Following the usual custom with German Ger-man families, the wedding of Princess Victoria and Princo Augustus is not likely lo be deferred longer than six months. The Princess is three months younger than tho Prince. She is tho niece of tho Empress and the. young couple aro also remotely related on the malo side, as they had a common ancestor at thc beginning of the 17th century.
