The ceremony was performed by liabbi Charles Froun'd and Rabbi Bilsky in the presence of the relatives ancf close friends "f the bride and groom. The bride was at? nMdnfbrV r?"a owenstein as S n r r' Ml3s SPhia Beckman and Miss Jean Glaser as bridesmaids, the ribbon bearers being Sherman Lo xr' custein and Uenrj' Shirtzitskv. Tho best man was Ben Stein, a brother of the bride, and the ushers were Max Ottcnheimer and Samuel Stein. Tho bride wore a beautiful crown of white sleeves ol lace, and carried a shower oi or ( e-s roses. Miss Lowenstcin wore pale blue radium over silk and carried an armiuj ot American beauties: Miss Orlasor was gowned iu white embroidered embroi-dered silk and also carried rosea: Miss Beckman wore white taffeta and carried American Beauty roses. The bride was given away by her mother, Mrs. P. H. otein. As the bridal party descended descend-ed the stairs Miss Lizzie Shapiro and bamuel Dentsch, thc pianist and violinist, vio-linist, played the bridal chorus from Lohengrin,'' and during the ceremony the 'bpnng Song." At the conclusion ot the service the Mendelssohn wedding march was produced. The rooms were bcautuully decorated with fcsloous of evergreens and holly. Large red and green bells were hung between the door ways, the mantel being banked with holJy and crimson carnations. The red and green effect was carried out in thc flming-vooni, where a wedding supper was served. Tall vases of carnations wreathed with evergreens were in the center of the long table. Mr. and Mrs Blumberg left on the late train for a trip through the East, The bride wore a handsome going-away gown of brown with hat. to ran toll. Tho social calendar has been filled with scheduled holidav dances and the two weeks of gaiety will be filled with such frolics. One of the most enjoyable ol these series was thc cotillion given last evening at Unify hall, when Miss McCornick and Miss Genevieve Me-Cornick Me-Cornick were the hostesses. The hall was prettily decorated with Christmas greens and berries. The favors were unique and the affair enjoyed by a number of the friends of the hostesses. Mrs. E. S. Wright and Mrs. George ' Read received their friends informally yesterday afternoon at thc home of Mrs. Wright. The rooms were effectively effect-ively decoraied with Christmas bells and greens, and during the afternoon a number of the friends of the hostc called.
