Player, representing the ranchers and residents of Salt Lake valley val-ley In tho territory adjacent to Murray Mur-ray and Bingham Junction, called on County Attornoy Chrlstenson Wednesday with the request that complaints bo Issued Is-sued against the several companies operating smelting plants in tho valley, charging them with maintaining a public nuisance. Tho genllomcn claimed that they had decided to take drastic measures to have tho smeltor smoke nuisanco abated. Mr. Chrlstenson told tho gentlemen that he would mnko un Investigation as to the merits of the case, and would give them an answer In a few days. Mr.' Leo stated afterward that tho interview in-terview with tho County Attorney was entirely satisfactory, as ho had agreed to toll them ns soon as he had mado an Investigation whether ho would or would not Issuo tho complaints, and that pending pend-ing the doclslon of tho County Attornoy they would tako no further action In tho matter. |
