' OGDEN, Juno C On Thursday morning morn-ing the United Commercial Travelers, who arc to hold their convention In Og-den, Og-den, will bo met at the railroad depot by Sheriff Seabrlng and his staff and will be conducted to the Elks' hall, where the convention will bo held. Tho hall Is artistically ar-tistically draped and will bo the hcad-quarters hcad-quarters of the U. C, T. during the threo days of tho convention. Leading them from tho depot to the hall will bo Nlchol's band, and tho march, while It will not bo so imposing ns tho affair arranged for Friday, will still be enough to show the hcspltallty of Ogdcn Is extended. Many Traveling Men Present. Already there aro many traveling men hero to taks part in the convention and the subsequent entertainment. The convention con-vention will be called to order at 10M0 and the business will be disposed of In the shortest time allowable. In tho afternoon after-noon there will b various events, among them being an entertainment on tho cltv hall stiuari, and the evening will be de voted to a dance. Handsomely Decorated. TDverv arrangement has been completed for tho entertainment of the traveling men. Tho city is decorated to an oxtont never before seen In Ogden. Every business busi-ness house on Twenty-fifth street. Washington Wash-ington avenue and Twenty-fourth street Is draped with tho colors of tho order and somo of them on the intorlor are works of art. It Is anticipated that KX people at least will be in Ogden during the three days. |
