Governor Cutler appointed nfteen delegates dele-gates Friday to represent the State of Utah at the National Irrigation congress at Sacramento, Ca)., September 2 to 7. Tho delegates aro as follows. D. M. Landreth. W. G. Wagstaff. Leroy Armstrong. Arm-strong. Thomas R. Cutler, Richard W. Young. Gcorso Austin. M. W. Miller, C. S. Kinney. William N. Williams. C S. Tin gey. Lyman R. Martlncau, C. P. Over-Held, Over-Held, oil of Salt Lako; W M. Roylnnce of Provo. John II. Soely of Mount I'leus-ant, I'leus-ant, and C. F. Weslpha! of Pleasant Grove. Only three countios in the Stato are represented on I his list of official delegates dele-gates Pali Lake. Utah and Sanpete and mosL of the appointees are tltho-paylng tltho-paylng members of tho Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Apostle John Henry Smith and Flshor Harris of Salt Lake, and Frod J. Kleacl of Ogden arc ex officio members of the congress, they holng officers of that body elected at the Bolso meeting last year. Weber county, au a result of Mr. Klcacl's holding' offlco, gets representation at the congress. I |
