Show ANNA I BRADLEY IS A VICTIM OE OPERATION Despite Denial of District Attorney, At-torney, Defense Will Produce Proof. Authentic advices to The Tribune from Washington, D. C, are to the effect that, despite the denial of United States District Dis-trict Attorney D. W. Baker, Mrs. Anna M. Bradley has really admitted that she submitted to a criminal operation in Salt Lake a few weeks boforo she went to Washington, where she killed ex-Senator Arthur Brown. It Is suited authoritatively that the defense de-fense at her trial will produce proof of this fact, and set it up as one of the reasons rea-sons why sho was Irresponsible mentally when she shot Senator Brown. The fact that she submitted to such an operation will bo substantiated by the physician who has been attending her In Washington- . District Attorney Baker's denial, it is said, was due to the fact that he know nothing of Mrs. Bradley's admissions. They were made to her own attorneys and not to any officers or representatives of the prosecution. When the news of the operation was first published a few weeks ngo, County Attorney Wlllard Hanson wrote to Mr. Baker asking for the name of the Salt Lake physician who performed tho operation. opera-tion. His Idea was to Institute a prosecution prose-cution against tho physician here. It was then that Mr Baker denied that Mrs. Bradley had made such an admission. |
