September wheat opened ic to 3c lower at Qllc to 92Ac, sold between 91Jc and 981c, and closed at 920c. The corn market was active and strong for the greater part of tho day, chlelly because of tho bulge In oats. Tho market mar-ket closed firm. Soptcmbor corn opened ic to Be higher nt 54Jc to 55c, sold between be-tween 543c and 55HS)551c, and closed at 54c. Tho oats market was exceedingly ac-tl'e ac-tl'e throughout tho session. The big bulls who have been buying for several days were again In tho market, and In addition, there was frantic buying by tho shorts, who wero anxious to cover. The bulls sold at times upon tho bulges, but failed to weaken the market. Tho principal trading was in September, but tho May option also showed much strength. The closo was strong. September Sep-tember oats opened Jc to lc .higher nt 42c to 425c, sold botweon 42c and 43Z 44c, and closed nt the latter figure. Provisions were dull.
