Show Special to Tho Tribune. LOG AX. Utah, June 11. The largest social event of the week was the banquet ban-quet given at the Agricultural college Tuesday evening by the alumni. The college library presented a pretty .scene, with its long tables daintily deco'rated with cut flowers and ferns, while the room itself was banked with palms and artistically draped In the college colors. At one end of the room a dainty corner was arranged, where soft strains of muKic from the Thatcher orchetra were enjoyed" (hiring the banquet. Toasts were responded to by James T. Hammond, Congressman Joseph Howell, How-ell, Prof. Uphum arid Robert Stewart. Dancing was then enjoyed in the ballroom, ball-room, which was also beautifully decorated deco-rated for the occasion. o A very delightful reception was given Wednesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ilyrum Hayball in honor of the marriage of their neice. The house throughout was charmingly arranged In whiu- and green. Snowballs and bridalwreuth were effectively used.
