Show Efforts to Get ffloyer Out of Jail Application for a Rehearing in Case of Labor Leader Is Made in Denver. DENVER, June 11. An application for a rehearing ln the case of Charles H. Moyer, president of the Western Federation of Miners, Mi-ners, who Is a military prisoner at Tcllurldc and whose petition for release re-lease on a writ of habeas corpus was denied by the Supreme court last Monday, Mon-day, was made by Attorney E. F. Richardson Rich-ardson ln the Supreme court today. In his application Mr. Richardson cites the fourth, fifth, sixth and fourteenth amendments to the Constitution of the United States, and claims that the decision de-cision of the court allows the military arm of the Government to hold Moyer, ln violation of the terms of thc Federal Constitution. |
