Show The record of births and deaths In this city for the "week just past shows poorer than usual by comparison, the former numbering twenty-six and the latter eighteen; of the births, fourteen four-teen were male and twelve female; of the deaths, thirteen -were male and five female. But one case each of scarlet fever, diphtheria, typhoid, and smallpox was reported during the week, -which may fairly be called an extremely favorable fa-vorable record for a city of sixty thousand Inhabitants. |
