So McGInley sent for the man who slolo the wheel. Deputy Sheriff Irvine happened around about this time and arrested ar-rested both McGInley and his sponsor. John G. Sullivan. Tho wheel belonged to Matt Glbbs of Murray. A description was eont to tho SherlfT and Deputy Irvine located lo-cated the bicycle In a second-hand store. Tho proprietor said that the man who wished to sell It had gone out to get oniiio one to Identify him and was to rtca-lvo Sin. Jn a little while MeGinlcy cama In and said his friend would be along In a minute. Irvine took him to tho county jail, where he confessed that Sullivan rode the wheel in from Murray and gavo it to him to dispose of. Sullivan did come around to Identify McGInley Mc-GInley and found Irvine waiting for him. A few minutes later he Joined McGInley behind tho bars. A largo number of wheels havo boon Htolen In tho past few weeks and It is thought Sullivan may bo able to account for a number of them. |
