Hor fine training and abilities wore fully enjoyed by tho audlcnco lust night. As an elocutionist sho leaves but little to bo desired. Ono of tho best numbers which she rendered ren-dered last night was the "Origin of Bee-thoven'ri Bee-thoven'ri Moonlight Sonata." In this number num-ber MIbs Josle Mulvanoy added greatly to tho effect of the rending by playing parts of tho "Moonlight Sonata" during tho recitation. rec-itation. For an encore Mrs Clark gavo a pleco entitled "Sandy McDonald." tho dry Caledonian humor of which could not but appeal to every ono who heard IL Mrs. Kate Bridewell Anderson and Walter Wal-ter Wallace were the vocalists of tho evening. Mrs. Anderson pleased with her pinging and was In good voice. Walter Wallace's flno voice produced the fine effect ef-fect it usually does. |
