Show Irrigation Project Is Turned Down Special to The Tribune. WASHINGTON. D. C, June IS. A recommendation of the Geological Geolo-gical Survey that Lake Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, be set apart as a storage reservoir for the Great Bend irrigation project, received an adverse decision today at the hanfls of Secretary Secre-tary Hitchcock. This lake is twenty miles long and navigable, and such being be-ing the case it Js the property of the State of Idaho, and the General Government Gov-ernment has no right to set apart as a public reservoir and thus deprive the State of a navigable body of water.
