Show ACCIDENTAL SHOT KILLS PROVO'S EX-CITY MARSHAL Special to Tho Tribune. PROVO. Juno 16. Ex-City Marshal Frank Tucker was killed this evening at 10:00 o'clock. Mr. Tucker and Georgo Roff, acting policemen po-licemen during the Elks' carnival, were sitting in the Sheriff's office chatting. They were both leaning back ln their chair resting. After vitllng In that position posi-tion for some timo Mr. Tucker attempted to straighten up or perhaps rlso to his feet. Ho was carrying an automatic revolver re-volver in his hip pocket, which dropped to the floor and explodrtj. The bullet entered en-tered a little above the hip and apparently apparent-ly ranged upward toward the heart. Tucker dropped suddenly to the floor without with-out uttering a Word. Mr. Ron? sprang to hla aid, picked him up and placed him ln a chair. Dr. Taylor wnfl summoned, but tho patient pa-tient died abput the timo ho ontorcd tho office. Mr. Tucker leaves a widow, four children chil-dren and a. host of frioudn. Mr. Tucker hnd been confined to his bed until recHiitly for iaboui six months with rhoinnatlfin and when he took tho place of policeman during the Elks' carnival It was th firrit work he had been able to do for thtr last half year.
