Show Railroad Notes. IT. M. Clay, who .was formerly agent for tho Union Pacific In this city, was appointed city passenger and ticket agent for the Colorado and Southern In Pueblo, Colo., last Friday, in place of I. N. Drew, who has resigned to take a position elsewhere. Mr. Clay was very well known in Salt Lake for many years. He left the railroad business for a time, but re-entered It again when, ho left the city. J. A. Foley, commercial agent of the Illinois Control In this city, returned yesterday morning from Idaho Falls. B. K. Blxby, president of the American Ameri-can Car and Foundry company, and a director of the Missouri Pacific railroad, and of the International and Great Northern railroad, arrives today from tho West In a Missouri Paclilc private car. Reports from Wyoming bring information in-formation that Kllpatrlck Bros. &. Collins, a well-known contracting firm of Denver, have obtained contracts on the Belgo-American company's road from Orln Junction to Lander, and have already started unloading materials ma-terials at Orln Junction. 1 |
