Emma Barns vs. Joseph Packor, who asked for a new trial In a boundary line case, was denied. The demurrer of the defendant to plaintiffs' plain-tiffs' amended complaint waa sustained in the case of the Raft River Land and Cattle Cat-tle company e.t al. vs. John Lind ot al. Defendants' demurrer was sustained In tho caso of the Stato of Utah vs. J. II. Llnchan, Fred M. Nye and U. S. Jovce. Llnchan was tried In Justice Ilowrlng's court some time ago for robbing aomo men in a freight car on the Southern Pacific Pa-cific railroad and released on $,7)0 bonds. Nyo and Joyce were his bondsmen. He Skipped recently and the State brought suit to recover bonds. It seems the bond had been executed on a District court blank instead of a Justice's blank and was defi-ctlve. Judge Hart sustained defendants' defend-ants' point. James Gorbbel and Frank Thlel wero sentenced to ono year each In the tato penitentiary for breaking Into a storo at Terrace some time ago. The case of Jamos Cottam vs. A. Roso ct al.. to establish plaintiff's right to certain cer-tain water In Snowvllle. was taken under advisement. The Utah Loan and Mortgage corporation corpora-tion secured judgment against A. U. Snow for $KS1 32 and $50 attorneys' fees. In the caso of Mrs. C. C. Nelson vs. F. G. Nelson, and order was made restraining re-straining defendant from selling certain personal properly and ordering him to pay plaintiff $150 and $50 attorney's fees.
