Show SANPETE 17ANTS SEELY FOR NATIONAL DELEGATE Special to The Tribune. MT. PLEASANT, Utah, March 31.-John 31.-John H. Seely's friends are working for him as a delegate to the National Republican Re-publican Convention at Chicago. Mr. Seely is worthy of the recognition and the general feeling Is that Sanpete county should be given one of these delegates. tl 6 W. D. Livingston is gaining- ground In the Judicial race. From present Indications In-dications the contest will be a very close one. 9 The rain and snow of the past two days have been of great value to tho farmers. Almost four inches of water have fallen, which Insures a good first-cutting first-cutting hay crop. As most of the wheat had been planted It will have plenty of moisture to give it n good start. The storm has been severe on young lambs, but no great losses have been reported. Fulrvlew precinct has elected the following fol-lowing delegates to attend the county convention at Mantl: W. W. Clark, John Carlson, L. C. Larson. To the Judicial convention at Mt Pleasant S. Sanderson, A. Miner. M. Turplm An effort was made to send the Judicial delegates Instructed for Judge Johnson, but It failed. However, about two-thirds of those present expressed ex-pressed themselves as favorable to Johnson and It is thought all the delegates dele-gates will follow the majority's wish. |
