The City Council has decided to take no action in regard of Instituting a water system at the present, for the reason that this could not be done without with-out bonding the city to the amount of about $10,000. Tho city fathers evidently evi-dently take the stand that Murray Ms yet too young a city to be placed under bondage. Charles Johnson, Jorn Johnson, A. G. Blamqulst and Fred Osblaln were fined by Justice McOmle for disturbing the peace. The cause of tho disturbance disturb-ance was Charles Johnson's wife, to whom too much attention had been paid by tho rest of the offenders. Nebeker, was quite sick during dur-ing the week, but Is now recovering. The baby of Ernest Benlon has been sick from a complication of ailments for several weeks. The child Is Improving now. Tho six-month-old baby of Mr. and Mra. Taylor P. Brookbank" Is allllcted with whooping cough In a mild form. Tho two-year-old daughter of Mr. George Brown Is afflicted with pneumonia. pneu-monia. Mrs. Jesses Tripp has been Indisposed for a number of days. Miss Birdie Parkinson has left for Greeley, Colo., where she will make her home. The Ladles' Aid society vmet at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Ford last Wednesday, Mr. Sam "Wamboult Is adding some Improvements to his place of business. Mr. Rheal of Pueblo has been visiting here. The Ladles of Woodcraft held a dance at the opera-house on SL Patrick's day. The Sixty-three club met last Wednesday at HarkoiJs hall. Henry Baron Is arranging to commence com-mence business on a large scale with the beginning of April. He will sell out at Bingham Junction and concentrate his capital entirely In his business in Murray. The Independent Telephone company la arranging everything necessary to be ready for operation within a very short time. Edward Morris has left the smelter works here and will go to Denver. The City Council Is negotiating again for the purchase of the former county Jail. George T. Osburn and family have located In Murray. E. B. She 13 under the care of a physician. Little Vilda, one of tho Moues triplets, is suffering from typhoid fever, complicated com-plicated with, some bronchial trouble.
