Show ENORMOUS TONNAGES FOR THE AMERICAN A Thousand Carloads of Oro Moving Daily to tho Furnaces in Its System. With approximately a thousand carloads car-loads of ore moving dally through channels under his supervision to the furnaces of the American Smelting- and Refining company, Silas W. Eccles, Its experienced traffic manager, came In from the East yesterday morning to consult the needs of this division. With the condition of the metal market mar-ket the producers at home and abroad appear to be pretty well satisfied, believing be-lieving that the market for silver will ultimately right itself, said the visitor, while certainly no State Is In apparently more prosperous condition than is Utah, with Its splendid variety. of ores and unrivaled fluxes. Mr. Eccles will remain re-main in Zion several days, after which he will go north to inquire into the needs of other divisions. |
