Show BURIAL OF GEORGE L CLIFT Funeral Services Held Yesterday Afternoon The funeral service of george L Chit were held at 2 oclock yesterday at the residence of Del Wilson his j brotherinlaw Rev A H Henry conducted con-ducted the services and the music was by the Tenth Ward quartette There was a very large attendance of the relatives friends and acquaintances of the deceased all of whom decply < < i sympathized I sym-pathized with Mrs Clift who has been made to bear so milch sorrow during her life The pallbearers were Del Wilson Thomas Manning Theodore Lovendale Willis O Bridgman K Andrews i Andrews and A J Pendleton Jr The l floral offerings were very numerous It is clear that Mr Cllft was temporarily tem-porarily bereft of Ills icason when he shot himself He elated before ho died that he did not remember when he got the pistol nor have any recollec i I lion of what he was doing at the time Ho and Mrs ClIft were deeply devoted to each other and deep sympathy Is felt for the stricken wife |
