Show Col. Bl'Kl's Accident. We are pleased to stato that, although Col. Buel was considerably bruised and hurt about the shoulders and other parts of tho body, his injuries aro not so severe as his many friends reared they were when the telegram reached town on Monday of his accident. His team acted kind of wild aod pitched him I from the carriage, but ho held on by tho lines and was dragged something like a hundred yards; after which he got into tho carriage and waa again thrown out, receiving the worst injuries tho second fall. Mr. Bateman and Dr. Hamilton brought him into town on Monday night, and he is now at j home as comfortably as can be expect-! expect-! od. We hope Lis recovery to active , health will bo speedy. |
