| Show POLLOCKS LEER Review of the Mining Share Market For the Week f James A Pollock will say in his weekly mining share market letter under un-der date of Feb 14 1896 The week just closed Iras been a very o > i I gratifying one as far as business is concerned and practically all of the I investment stocks have advanced in price several of them td a very marked I mark-ed Hegree Orders both local and outside out-side have been received in increased I 1 number and also increased volume Ajax was firm at slightly advanced figures sales being made at about 60 cents The mine Is reported to be looking look-ing well Alliance did little business sellers declining to release at buyers prices The company is working in one section of the properties Gas was weak Anchor was wanted but comparatively com-paratively little of the stock was offered of-fered BullionBeck has declared another dividend of 25000 payable on the 15th i Good reports of the condition of the properties are given out This makes a total of 2000000 in dividends for the Beck CentennialEureka will pay its usual double dividend of 1 per share on the 15th making 1590000 The companys properties are In most excellent shape and shipment of high grade ore con tinues in about the usual volume The stock was very strong with little of fered below 70 Only a few shares of Comstock were sold for delinquent assessment as-sessment The properties may soon I be worked again Dalton suffered a bear movement during the week on the strength of an assessment report but recovered quick ly It is not unlikely that an assessment sessment will be levied after all should the negotiated sale of treasury stock in the east not be made Daly showing splendid strength sales being made at 7 and above at the close of the week The advance is due to divi dend expectations although nothing I has been given out by the company The properties have not looked as well for years Daly West was also strong er upon the receipt of good reports and returns from the properties where the new mill is doing very satisfac tory work The recent developments in the Daly have also had a good ef feet upon the Daly West Work has been resumed at the Gey ser mill and the company is reported to be doing well I is anticipated antcipated that Horn Silver will pay its usual quarterly dividend next month but there seems to be some question on this point Shipments are regular and the mines are reported to be looking wellMereur Mereur made a spJe did advance and even after the closing of the stock I hooks for the dividend I tJle Payment which m whlh will be made on the 20th the stock was I was held very firmly at 725 and above Most excellent reports were received I from the properties in which the show Ul f ore Becomes better daily and is now indeed wonderful The payment of the dividend > on the 20th will make the companys total 400000 Mammoth was slightly stronger slg11l bidding being considerably more free than for sev eral weeks past The new shaft im provements at Morgan Meears lorgan lIeears are not nearly completed Ontario again made a heavy advance selling at 1 and above with little of the stock offered The properties are dOing well Rover held Its own upon good reports from the companys mines in which the showing of first Gold cass The main shaft of ore the is is past the 100 foot mark and has gone through some 27 feet of fl good looking vein matter from which assays of over 2 were obtained Sink ing is being continued contnqed vIgorously for the main vein and ore bOdy which Is known to exist below The outlook is outook very encouraging hands Silver King a held in very strong as above 15 i riark Sunshine made a splendid advance cd all of its losses passing and the regain 350 mark and selling at 355 with little of the stock offered Stockholders do not think that dividends of a substan tial tal nature are off more than two months Tetronas in I good demand with ers and sellers wih buy selers somewhat apart The properties of propertes the company are developed being with two thafts important developmeHts and some place within the should take ihln nexth nextjhirty ry daya |
