I DOCKBREVS SCHEME I WASHINGTON Feb 13Mr Dockery Dem Mo today introduced in the house a bill which he believes I passes would do much to prevent tho raiding of the gold reserve It proposes to strike out from section 3 of the resumption act of 1SJ75 tho city of New York where it oc I ours and substitute the city of St I Louis Section 3 of the resumption act I makes legal tenders redeemable at New York and San Francisco I Is at New York Mr Dockery says that the endless end-less chain Is operated to deplete the gold reserve It is there where the gold exporters and speculators exprrs secure their gold from the treasury treas-ury If the greenbacks were not redeemable re-deemable there but at some interior point the speculators he thinks would b embarrassed by the inconvenience of transferring greenbacks to that point and the cold back to New York and also by the expense of transportation and loss of time to such an extent that gold could not be withdrawn save for legitimate legiti-mate purposes
