Show UNITARIANS NEW CHURCH Transformation Being Wrought at the Denlmlter Hall The Unitarians have been busy this week with a force of workmen and decorators changing the ground floor of the old Denhalter building into a church This building Ihbs had a varied history and ha been used for varied purposes but i seems to adapt itself quite naturally to its new use In fact the church reporter was quite unprepared from the familiar outside appearance of this well known business block to find such an ecclesiastical appearance ap-pearance on the inside Opening upon the street is 3 wide vestibule ves-tibule from which the reporter entered the main auditorium 80x35 which has been so skilfully decorated that no suggestion remains of any former occupancy oc-cupancy but one feels himseflf at once to be to a church Back of the auditorium torium are two reception rooms one 21x17 feet and the ocher 24x18 feet with a stairway leading into the basement wlhidh will also be used for church purposes pur-poses Altlhoush the Unitarians have only been in possession one week > the auditorium audi-torium i 1 to be completed tonight and the first service is to be held there tomorrow to-morrow morning at which time the new Unity Quartttte with assist in lhe I services for the first time This 6ece fa frst Thi quartette quar-tette hois been organized under the ef ficlanft cttrarge of Mrs Almy and is composed of Mrs SUva soprano Miss Ida Pratt contralto Mr George Lawrence tenor Law-rence bass and Mr Tom AshworWi |
