Show OVERLAND OPERATIONS I Steady Development Work in Pro PoI gress on This Property Judge W A Sherman has been A devoting de-voting the most of his time of late in the direction of the development work poii In progress In the operation of the Overland mine at Sunshine and he is well pleased with the advancement that has been made during the past two or three months I Two shifts are employed at the Over j I land and the judge states that in his j I opinion there is all of nnnn tn = < good milling ore blocked out in tim t property whlclt will carry gold val ues ranging from J3 to lQa ton and with every foot of work done the prop erty grows better and better While the Overland is without a mill and there is no telling when it will be graced with a plant there is no question I ques-tion of doubt but that it is one of the best mines in the district that is in lack of milling facilities of its own I But little is doing at Sunshine at the present time outside of the work in I progress at the Overland the Search light and the Geld Point At the Searchlight the last contract for 100 feet of sinking has just been completed which gives the shaft a depth of nearly 300 feet and it is un derstood that the Indications are encouraging en-couraging The Gold Point shaft is now down 240 or 250 feet the bottom being in mineralized miner-alized lime The company is now work j lug three shifts shifs and during the middle of last week the force was increased to three men to a shift which demonstrates I demon-strates the fact that the company has abiding faith in the outiome of the enterprise en-terprise and will admit of no delay in proving the value of the property I I is a good company for the camp and the district would be better off if it I had more companies of this character j within its borders I I |
