Show AT XAYSVILLE Wedding of Miss Ellis Hillstead and W S Barnes Kaysville June 2GT11P marriage of two prominent young Salt Lake people W S Barnes and Miss Ellis Hillstead was solemnized in the Salt Lake temple tem-ple on Thursday last After the cere money they came to Kaysville Mr Barnes former home and that evening even-ing they were given a pretty wedding reception at the home of the grooms father Hon John R Barnes A very large company of the immediate rela I tires and friends of the contracting j f parties was present and many were the sincere cotigratulations and hearty good wishes that were showered upon the twain who had newly been made one The rooms were made bright and cheerful with the lavish decorations of beautiful flowers Green vines and fragrant fra-grant flowers clung to the walls of the dining room where a splendid wedding supper was served The bride and groom sat at the head of the table beneath be-neath a magnificent floral horseshoe an emblem of good luck After supper there was singing reciting and instrumental I instru-mental music for the entertainment of the guests There was dancing too for I those who desired to participate In the parlors of Robert Barnes residence nearby The bride wore a lovely brocaded cream silk dress and carried a bouquet of pure white roses There were many beautiful presents Among those present from out of town were the bridessmother Mrs C Hill stead Mr and Mrs M B Shipp Mr and Mrs Thomas Butler Mr and Mrs A F Barnes Mr and Mrs R C Barnes Mrs Frank Young Miss Shipp Miss Lottie Shipp Miss JUlia Jones Isador Morris Charles Barber W T Edwards and Z S Derrick of Salt Lake Mr and Mrs Joseph Hillstead of Eureka and Mrs Revor of Ogden Mr and Mrs Barnes will make their home in Salt Lake where Mr Barnes holds a responsible position with Z C M I They will be at home to friends at 23C South Sixth East after July S |
