Johnson has a 23ton ta t this class of mineral on the dum which will bi consigned to tho smelter as soon as the roads become passable I pass-able which will not be for two months yet although there has been a very light fall of snow in that locality the past winter win-ter Mr Johnson states that the miners I of Ata are all doing well and that the coming season will show more than usual I activity In the mines of this old wealth producing district Superintendent II L Benner of the GerserMarion who was in the city yesterday I yes-terday states that the mine Is now looking look-ing better than ever before In this connection con-nection it might be well to state that the additions being made to the Geyser mill will increase the capacity of the plant to I 200 tons daily V whicn is greater than the previous aggregate capacity of both the Marion and Geyser mills and the cost of I making this improvement will not exceed ex-ceed 2OCO The last shipment of cyanides from the GeyserMarion covering only a run of 1C days was over 9100 and is the I largest yet made bv the company for a similar period while the battery tests are running much higher than formerly The stock of
