Show Eagle Award L- J yt I , -- I :tT: i ' V v ' j - J . -V CHARLES ADAM BENSON Charles Adam Benson, son of Don B. and Kathleen Isobel Benson, of Bountiful, has been awarded the order of Eagle Scout for his efforts in scouting. HE WAS born in Salt Lake City on July 25. 1963 and has lived in Bountiful since he was 13 months old attending Adelaide and Stoker Elementary Elemen-tary Schools. At present he is in the ninth grade at Millcreek Junior High. Among his school activities ac-tivities are chorus with Mr. Christensen and the Year Book Staff with Mrs. Daniels, of which he is business manager. ThisTiaS proved to be of : " help to him many times since taking the class. Genealogy was made easy for him with his mother and grandmother both having emigrated from England in 1951 they were able to give him first hand information on his English side of the family. His great-grandmother on his father's side was a real source of information and tales of Indians and pioneer history. She passed away four years ago at the age of 106. HIS badge for personal money management has also !-v.....v.W.V.V.V.V.V-V.T.V.V.K been useful to him in his position as business manager of the Millcreek Year Book Staff. Charles has received congratulations from William J. "Dub" Lawrence, sheriff of Davis County and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Bountiful Lodge no. 2442, Eugene K. Thomson, Exalted Ruler and Harold M. Dains, chairman. |
