Show Centerville Happy new parents in Centerville Cen-terville are Paul K. and Sam-mie Sam-mie Kay Bailey, who after years of waiting have been able to adopt a brand new son. He arrived on April 26 and weighed 8 lbs. ll'2 ozs. and is 2H4 inches long. His name will be Brandon Paul. His grandparents are Ken and Dot Bailey, and John and Jo Rogers, Magna. Walter and Arietta Williams enjoyed a very interesting trip recently. They flew to Dallas where they joined up with a tour and visited all of the deep south by bus, including Cape Canaveral and the "World of Disney" in Florida, points of interest in Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama, the Cypress Gardens, Jamestown and Williamsburg in Virginia, Vir-ginia, then on up the East Coast to see the Blue Ridge Mts. through North and South Carolina, visiting at Churchill Downs in Kentucky, then on to Washington D. C. to visit the many points of interest there. The last place the Williams visited was Louisville, before returning home after a delightful 19 days of touring. On Sat. May 1 the girls of the Primary of the 8th Ward and their mothers met for an enjoyable morning at the Stake Center. Some interesting interest-ing stories handed down by ; grandparents and great grandparents were retold by some of the girls and their mothers. A highlight of the program was a pioneer reading by Mrs. Thelma Olson, after which the party was topped off by a delicious luncheon. |
