Show OoiigpZf uglier May 10 brings a special program to the South Branch of the Davis County Library. MARK EUBANK, noted meteorologist of KUTV, Channel 2, will present a slide show on the weather with a discussion period to follow. Any questions that you may have about the weather will probably be covered, including includ-ing tornadoes, world-wide extremes ex-tremes and record breaking hail storms. TO MR. Eubank weather is a lot more than a 9 to 5 job. The man who has been called "the world's most enthusiastic enthusias-tic weatherman" surrounds himself with weather gad-getry gad-getry 24 hours a day. Both his office and his home are fully equipped weather stations, and there is even an electric thermometer in his car. WEATHER IS Mr. Eubank's recreation, his business and his continuing course of study, and he loves it. His personal fascination with weather comes across clearly in his presentations. He delights in explaining not only what is happening with the weather, but also why it is happening. LISTEN TO him talk and you will know he believes his slogan: "There is no such thing as bad weather, just different kinds of good weather." The program will begin at 7 p.m., Monday, May 10, at the South Branch Library, 725 South Main, in Bountiful. There is no admission charge, and the public is cordially invited. |
