Show By BERTHA L. MUIR 295-3742 Mrs. Ruby Layton and Mrs. Lonice Hale were guests at the Wallace E. Hess home in Salt Lake last Friday afternoon. after-noon. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Howard attended a United Nations meeting and luncheon held March 25 at 12:30. The affair was held in the Panarama room, Univeristy of Utah. The speaker was Professor M. Neff Smart. His topic was "How Africans look at the United States." Professor Smart has recently returned from a two year teaching assignment in Africa. The Bountiful Narfe Chapter will meet the second Monday in May at the Bountiful Boun-tiful Library Building at 2 pm. President Horten Hess urges all members to attend as there are many matters of business to take up. Paul M. Boyer, National host chairman for Narfe 1976 National convention held a planning meeting in his home recently to make plans for the National convention to be held at the Salt Palace in September. Sep-tember. Glen Tolman president of the Utah State Marfe held a bound meeting in his home in Salt Lake. Six of the eight Federation officers were in attendance. The topics discussed dis-cussed were membership and national convention. The guest speaker was John E. Worden, director of V. ' Field operations, j' ton, D C.
