Four members of the group were intending to attend college. They ask for work, they were doing it. WHAT a contrast from a previous and similar program called-PWA when loafing was the rule. An amusing sign installed in Logan Canyon at that time "Hunters beware! Don't shoot till it moves, it may be a PWA worker." This local project will be very beneficial for many years in reducing erosion and damage to land in both the upper and lower parts of our valley. CREDIT should be given to those who planned and are carrying out this excellent project. Frank D. Ashdown |
