Show Area LBS Missionaries f f ELDER McKAY Kyle McKay has been called to serve in the Japan Kobe Mission and will enter the Mission Training Center on Feb. 8. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Barrie G. McKay, 564 East 1700 South, Bountiful. Boun-tiful. ON JAN. 28, at 5 p.m., Elder McKay will speak at the Bountiful 25th Ward, 600 East 1500 South. Following the meeting, friends and relatives will gather at the McKay home. Elder McKay graduated from Bountiful High School where he enjoyed forensics and football and served as studentbody president. He has received his Duty To God award, is an Eagle Scout, and recently completed one semester at BYU, where he won the Heber J. Grant Oratory Ora-tory Contest. VBWN f' f V t Vt i If j ELDER HALLOWS Rick D. Hallows has been called to serve in the Ventura, California Mission. He will enter the Missionary Training Center, Feb. 1. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Brice J. Hallows, 768 West 3600 South, Bountiful. HIS FAREWELL will be held Jan. 28 at 3 p.m. at the Orchard Second Ward, 3787 South 800 West, Bountiful. An open house will be held at his home for family and friends after the meeting. Elder Hallows graduated from Viewmont High School in 1978 and has been attending the University of Utah. ELDER LAWSON Rodger K. Lawson, Far-mington, Far-mington, has been called to the Florida Tallahassee Mission Mis-sion for the LDS Church. He will serve for two years under Mission Pres. LeGrand Curtis. Cur-tis. HE WILL have a farewell service on Sunday, Feb. 11 in the Rock Chapel, 272 North Main, Farmington in the First Ward. He will enter the missionary training center on Feb. 22 for four weeks training. train-ing. Elder Lawson has been on the Davis High School football team, was rally man for the Davis High games and graduated from that school. HE IS the son of Ralph and Ardella Lawson, 215 East 300 North, Farmington. A brother Mark Lawson will be returning return-ing from the Wellington Mission Mis-sion in New Zealand about Apr. 1. kj . 'V I A . j MARY ANNE STODDARD Mary Anne Stoddard of the Farmington Fourth Ward has been called to serve in the Florida Tallahassee Mission for the LDS Church. SHE WILL leave for the mission training center on Jan. 25. Mary Anne is a graduate of Davis High School where she participated in girls athletics. She played on the girls All-Star All-Star basketball team, attended attend-ed Utah State University and is a former employee of Emst Home Center in Centerville. MARY ANNE is the daughter of Lynn and Loraine Stoddard of Farmington. She is the fourth child, the third daughter, to serve on a mission, mis-sion, kj :"-- -C' " - i2 i ELDER WILLIAMS Kelly Greg Williams, son of Dewey and Donna Rue Mor-tensen Mor-tensen of Farmington, has been called to serve a LDS Mission in the Canada Winnipeg Win-nipeg Mission. His farewell will be held in the Rock Chapel, 272 North Main, Farmington Far-mington on Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. HE GRADUATED from Davis High School and seminar in 1978. He has always al-ways been active in all sports and has always been a very willing participant. Elder Williams has held positions of secretary and president in all the priesthood groups, from deacon to priest. - v ei j)kr McMillan R. David McMillan has recently accepted a call to serve in the Uruguay Montevideo Mission. He will enter the Mission Training Center on Feb. 8. HE IS the son of Esther P. McMillan of 338 N. 300 W., ; Bountiful. Elder McMillan is a graduate of Viewmont High ' School and the LDS Seminary program. He is also an Eagle Scout. HIS FAREWELL will be , Sunday, Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. at the Bountiful 26th Ward House 200 N. 200 W., Boun- tiful. Friends are invited to an open house that day from 4-8 p.m. |
