The Leonard home was decorated In pink sweet peas and apple blossoms. Tiie bride wore a eown of white net over satin, with trimmings of silver and pearls. , She carried bride roses. The matron of honor. Mrs. .1 F. Edwards of Shreveport. La., wore white laco over taffeta and carried Easter lilies. Harry Tempest, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Dix-ie Leonard and Agnes Leonard were flower girl and ring bearer. They wore white lingerie frocks and carried baskets of pink sweet pens. A Dolly Madison afternoon was enjoyed by the members of the Woman's Democratic Demo-cratic club whh Mrs. John E. Clark on Garfield avenue yesterday afternoon. A programme dealing with the popular mistress mis-tress of the White house and .her distinguished distin-guished husband was followed by tea. The house was decorated with lilacs and Iris, in purple, white and yellow. . Mrs. E. M. Cohen whs in charge of the programme. Mrs. Gertrude Brown gave a paper on "The Spirit of Dolly Madison." Madi-son." Mrs. Aqulla Xebeker gave "Incidents "Inci-dents in the Life of James Madison." Patriotic music was also included in the programme. The hostess was assisted by Mrs. H. J. Hayward and Mrs. B. T. , Pyper. The Authors' club held its annual meeting meet-ing Tuesday evening at the home of Mr. nnd Mrs. M. R. Evans, 701 East South Temple street. The members of the club and their husbands were in attendance. A programme was followed by supper. The supper table was d corated in red snapdragons and ferns, carrying out the club colors, red and green. Miss Claire Stewart reviewed Gilbert Parker's "Money Master." A vocal selection selec-tion was given by Miss Elma Young; a violin solo by Ralph Stewart and an interpretative in-terpretative dance, 'Awakening of Spring," by girls of the East high school.'
