Show Newlyweds honored at reception A large crowd greeted the nowlvweds 1 Annette M and M,ke Wmgort at a reception given in their honor March Hi at the l.DS Cultural Hall. I.vnnette and Mike were married March 2f in the Salt Lake Temple with numerous close relatives and friends attending. The youiiH folks plan to make their home, at present, in Kannely, Colo. Hex and Dehhie Wilklns just returned from a five day trip to I'hoenix, An.. l'airoute they stopped and visited Deb-bie's Deb-bie's grandparents, Harold and I.ula Twilihel, at llreen River, I'tah While in 1'hoenix, they were nuesls of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne' Workman who spend the winters in Arizona and the summers in Roosevelt. Rex took part in some roping events while there. They saw the Ilopi Indians in their native habitat, saw the Koat.s that are raised and sheared for their hair, which is used in cloth making. The warm climate and sunshine was very inviting. They brought a load of cattle back for the Worknians. Mr. Albert (Ab) Murray had surgery Monday in Salt Lake. Close family members are with him. Nita Powell accompanied Lucille Caldwell and Sharon Hillings to Rexburf,', Ida. last week to attend the mother and daughter special event at Ricks College While there, they attended various meetings which their daughter took part in. Wade, Sylvia and Chad Slaugh were among those attending the wedding of Donnie Williams at the Salt Lake Temple Tem-ple March 2s in the evening. They staved all night with the Nolan Slauglis. They then traveled to Provo early the . next morning to keep an assignment at the Provo Temple and returned home in time lor Chad to be best man al Donnie 's reception at the Maeser Stake Center and then attended I.ynnetle's reception in Jensen. Lorena Slaugh, daughter of the Wade Slaughs, celebrated her third birthday w ith family, and close relatives March IV. Visitors at Flossie MacKnighls are the David Chnstensens and children of Encampment, En-campment, Wyo. Amy l.ube and friend joined the group for dinner Tuesday evening at Flossies. David is a grandson of Flossies. John and Linda Snow spent March 28 with John's brother, Ralph Snow and family in Grand Junction. Colo. John and Ralph have the same birthdate. Visitors at the William Turner home are two of Gertrudes sisters. The Meril Snows motored to Provo to attend the Pinewood Derby in which their little grandson Ronald took part and won first place. Chad Slaugh accompanied friends to Provo March 30 to attend a special musical concert. The Monty Hewitts and children from Kvanston, Wyo. were house guests of the Auer Warrens for about five days returning retur-ning home on Tuesday, March 29. |
