VFW Auxiliary Installs Officers; Mrs. Mary Duffy Is New President Mrs. Mary Duffy is the new president of the Springville V .F .W. Auxiliary to Art City Post No. 5887, the installation instal-lation having taken place Monday evening, under direction of Mrs. Mina Adams ot Provo, past district president. Other officers named to direct the affairs of the unit are: Mrs. Catherine Johnson, senior vice-president; vice-president; Mrs. Beatrice Smith, junior vice-president; Mrs Mildred Carter, treasurer; Mrs. .Mary Whitehead, chaplain, and Mrs. June Blanchard, conductress. Tru-stees include Mrs. Sonova Blanchard and Mrs. Gertrude Clements. Cle-ments. Mrs. Yvonne Morgan is secretary; Mrs'. Gertrude Clements, Cle-ments, historian; Mrs. Gertrude Smith, patriotic instructor,- and Mrs. LaVern Measom, guard. The installation meeting was held at the home of Mrs. Kate Holley, and attending as a: special guest was Mrs. Monica Kinney of Homestead, Pa., mother of Mrs. Duffy, a member of Post No. 373 of Homestead and a past president presi-dent of the Allegheny County VFA Auxiliary. |
