Assisting with the receiving of guests at the wedding reception for Miss Lois Fay Twitchell and Verl F. Harward, were left to right: Miss Joyce Harward, sister of the groom; Miss Janet Harmer, Miss Carolyn Pyper, Miss Margene Cook, bridesmaids; Miss Co-leen Co-leen Norton, cousin of the bride, made of honor; the bride and groom, Mr. and Mrs. Verl F. Harward; Norman Cox, best man; Mrs. and Mr. Orson A. Harward parents of the groom and Mrs. -Ruby Twitchell, mother of the bride. Little Maureen and Dickey Clark were flower bearers. Home Culture Club Holds Last Meeting Home Culture club members were delightfully entertained Friday Fri-day afternoon at the home of Mrs. Alma Miner at the last regular meeting bf the club season. Mrs. Arthur Condie was co-hostess and the afternoon was spent socially with the group enjoying progressive progres-sive "Neighbor". During the games each one received a small gift. Mrs. Arthur Condie, retiring president, gave a report during the afternoon on the past year's work and Mrs. Emily Anderson, retiring secretary gave a complete financial report. The gavel was then turned over by Mrs. Condie to Mrs. Maurice Bird, newly elected elec-ted president. Delicious refreshments were served ser-ved by the hostesses to conclude the afternoon social. |
