Show KIWANIANS PLAN LADIES' PARTY Claude Eggertsen, secretary of the Kiwanis club, announces that there will be no Kiwanis meeting tonight. Ladies will be guests of the Ki-wanians Ki-wanians next Thursday night at the Hot Pots, where a special dinner din-ner will be served. The party will be under the direction of Roy De-spain. De-spain. Last Thursday night Ellsha Warner, president of the State Press association, gave a fine talk at the regular meeting on the subject sub-ject "Five Hundred Years of Printing," Print-ing," in special observance of the 500th anniversary of the invention of printing. Harrison Conover. publisher of the Herald, acted as toastmaster, and musical numbers were given by Miss Virginia Bird. |
