Show Funeral Services Held Tuesday For Hellie Vane Many friends and relatives paid final tributes of respect to the life of Mrs. Nellie Pennington Vane at funeral services Tuesday afternoon in the Second-Eighth ward chapel. Mrs. Vane. 62. the wife of Howard Ho-ward L. Vane, died Sunday morning morn-ing at the family residence, 333 West Fourth South, after a lingering linger-ing illness. Burial was in the Springville cemetery under direction direc-tion of A. Y. Wheeler and Son Mortuary. Mrs. Vane was born in Springville. Spring-ville. July 10, 1888, a daughter of Henry and Josephine Ekstrom Pennington. She received her education ed-ucation in the Springville schools and was married to Mr. Vane on October 16, 1909, in Salt Lake City. She had made her home in Springville most of her life. She was an active member of the LDS church and had served in the Sunday School. She had also been a member of the ward choir for a number of years. Survivors include her husband, her mother of Springville and four sons and daughters: Joseph E. (Ted) Vane; Mrs. Aileen Weight and Mrs. Ruth Shurtleff all of Springville; Miss Nell Jean Vane of Salt Lake City; 10 grandchildren grandchil-dren and five brothers and sisters, Mrs. Alice Harmer of Helper; Mrs. Kate Mower, Harry Pennington, E. E. Pennington and J. W. Pennington Pen-nington of Springville. |
