Show Mrs. Berlha Angus 71 Years Old Charles Percival celebrated his 71st birthday on Wednesday evening, eve-ning, Dec. 29. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival visited with him and spent a very enjoyable time. He received some nice presents. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon entertained en-tertained at dinner Saturday for I twenty guests, including Roy Tim- othy of Jensen, Mr. and Mrs Ow-len Ow-len Timothy and family of Orem, iMr. and Mrs. Wayne Russon of Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Josh-ua Timothy and family. The dance given by the Primary Pri-mary Thursday for the children was much enjoyed by all attend- Lyle Lemon was confirmed a member of the , LDS church Sunday Sun-day in meeting. ELEVENTH BIRTHDAY Eda Bee Percival was 11 years old Jan. 2nd. Some of her friends spent the afternoon visiting with her. Among those visiting her were Ann Killian, Diane Zobell and Gloria Robison. Vino Morrell, of Myton, sister of Zelma Lloyd, and Darlena Morrell, Mor-rell, of Pleasant Grove, a niece of Mrs. Lloyd, visited her Friday. The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Robison has been very sick. He was in the Roosevelt Hospital several days last week. A family dinner was enjoyed at Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd's Saturday Sat-urday with their children and grandchildren attending. Mrs. Olive Sorensen and son, A. V. had New Year's dinner with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Fausett at Upalco. Mrs. Eva Percival and children and Mrs. Angus spent New Year's day at Bluebell with Mr. and Mrs. Orie Cook and family. I CHURCH PROGRAM Sunday evening service was directed di-rected by Otto Lloyd as follows: talk, "My Life Story," by Bishop James Lemon; talk, "Joy of Being Baptized for the Dead," James Drollinger; talk, "Experiences of My Ancestors in the Temple," by Melvin Benson; talk, "Faith Promoting Pro-moting Experiences in Compiling My Book of Remembrance," by Dona Lemon. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson entertained a few friends at their home Thursday evening in honor of newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Benson. Those enjoying the evening eve-ning were Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gentry j and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Washburn. Wash-burn. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Milburn were Salt Lake visitors last week. Mrs. Alice Sorensen and son, ' A. V. Sorenson, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Fausett Fau-sett of Upalco on New Year's day. Bishop James Lemon and family fam-ily and Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Lemon Lem-on spent New Year's day with Mr. and Mrs. Max Hartman of Mt. Emmons. Mrs. Stella Ames and children returned home from Salt Lake, Thursday, where they visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Molski. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dart and children, Mrs. Ora Spencer and family and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jones and little daughter, Ree, enjoyed New Year's dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Foote. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gentry entertained en-tertained at a New Year's party after an evening of dancing. A buffet supper was enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Larry of Roosevelt. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nelson last week were Mr. and Mrs. Dale Nelson of Roosevelt, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Green of Tooele, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Gingell of Myton and Rosa-lee Rosa-lee Green of Riverton. Louise Gentry left for Mt. Pleasant Monday after spending the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gentry. Mr. and Mrs. Tuff Reay had as their guests at dinner on New Year's day, Mrs. Reay from Canada, Can-ada, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Reay and Mr and Mrs. Lee Jessen of Altonah. |
