Show This Week's RECIPE... An unusual, but delicious i cookey recipe, is - the one for Chocolate Drops, called in by ( Mrs. A. L. Norman, who . reports re-ports that they are her family's; favorites, rich but luscious. CHOCOLATE DROPS (Makes Approximately 2 doz.) 3 squares unsweetened chocolate choco-late 1 cup milk V4 tsp. salt 2 cups sugar 1 tsp. butter I 1 tsp. vanilla 16 marshmallows, quartered 2V2 cups coarsely crushed graham cracker crumbs 1 cup walnuts or pecans, whole or coarsely chopped Cook milk with chocolate over ov-er low heat and stir until chocolate choc-olate is melted. Add sugar and salt and stir until mixture boils and cook to soft ball stage (don't overcook). Remove from heat. Add butter but-ter and vanilla and cool to luke warm. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoon on wax paper and let set a few hours. (Do not bake). |
