GAR encampment denver aug 22 with the near approach of the date of the thirty ninth national encampment of the grand army of the republic september 4 the local committee announce that they have a thoroughly systematized plan perfected for handling the thousands of visitors who will come to denver they declare that the coming en camp ment will break all previous records for attendance and some the probable number of visitors at all the churches in the downtown district school buildings halls and vacant store rooms have been en as meeting places and headquarters and a canvass of the city has resulted in pledges of all available rooms in private residences tor quartering the guests athla in addition to the many hotels and rooming houses insures accommodations tor all A new feature in encampment has been inaugurated by the denver general committee all visiting bands drum corps etc that place their gel vices at the disposal of the committee will have their quarters and meala provided tree of charge the committee insists however that ample notice of intent be given and that in notifying grand army headquarters here of their prospective visit to the encampment musical state the number of pieces time of arrival etc
