Show LINCOLN'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION. Lincoln Circle No. 2, Ladies of the G. A. R. gavo a Lincoln's Birthday celebration Thursday evening of this week In tho I. O. O. F. hall. Eighty persona were present among whom were members of the Grand Army local post .and auxiliaries. The Odd Fellows' hall was beautifully and appropriately ap-propriately decorated for the occasion with numerous flags and pictures ot the great emancipator, nicely arranged. arrang-ed. A program of music and literary numbers was an enjoyable feature of the afternoon entertainment and refreshments re-freshments were served. Mrs. Grace Bartlett and the little James twins furnished several musical musi-cal selections and Mrs. Gertrude Can-gave Can-gave a reading "Who Gave You tho Name of Old Glory?" Captain Hulanlski reviewed the life of Lincoln in a highly entertaining manner and William R. Smethers followed fol-lowed with an Interesting address. L. A. to B. of R. T. Thursday, February 17, in the Royal Dancing Academy, the Ladies auxiliary auxili-ary to the B. of R. T. will entertain at a dancing party. Refreshments will be served. LUCKY THIRTEEN CLUB. The Lucky Thirteen club members were the guests of Mrs. L. S. Corey yesterday afternoon. Card games were enjoyed and refreshments served by the hostess. WILL ELECT CHURCH OFFICERS. The annual election of officers of the Christian church will be held Thursday, February 17, at the home of Mrs. E. M. Melone, 579 Thirty-first street The meeting begins at 7:30 o'clock sharp. '500' CLUB. Mrs. Ambrose P. Hibbs will be hostess host-ess to the 500 club ladles, Saturday February 19 at her home, 2223 Adams avenue. AT MAIDS' AND MATRONS' CLUB. Mrs. Richard Leek will entertain at the Maids' and Matrons' club, Saturday Satur-day February 19. Miss Thatcher's orchestra or-chestra will furnish the music. ENTERTAIN AT CARDS. The Leap-Year 500 club met yesterday yes-terday with Dr. and Mrs. E. M. Conroy 514 Twenty-fourth street. The usual games were followed by a delicious luncheon. DANCING PARTY. Last evening about sixty couples at-, tended the K. C. K. dancing party given in the Maids' and Matrons' club rooms. The program was of unusual merit and thoroughly enjoyed by every ev-ery one present. CHI RUE CLUB. Members of the Chi Rue club will be the guests of Miss Ardell Browning Brown-ing and Miss Norma White Monday, February 14. B. of L. E. ENJOY EVENING. A pleasing surprise awaited the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers at the close of their business session last Monday afternoon.
