Show Young couple recite Temple vows Miss Lynda Esplin became the bride of Michael L. Cummings Cum-mings in rites solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple May 22. President Theron Ashcroft officiated at the double ring ceremony. Parents of the bridal pair are Mr. and Mrs. Reed Esplin, Cedar and Mrs. Lela Cummings, Cum-mings, Kanosh. A reception honoring the newlyweds was held that evening ev-ening in the Cedar Eighth Ward. The bride wore a gown of nylon organdy trimmed with apliqued lace, pearls and sequins. se-quins. The detachable Chapel train of lace threaded around with satin ribbon as was the hemline of the dress. Her finger-tip veil of illusion was held with a tiara of net flowers flow-ers and small pearls. She carried car-ried a bouquet of white and yellow daisys with yellow rosebuds. Miss Sharon Esplin was maid of honor in a dress ol light blue. The other attendants: attend-ants: Miss Valerie Jones wore peach, Miss Gaye Stucki wore pink, Miss RoAnn Morris wore lavender, Miss Karen Eplin wore yellow. The flower girls: Miss Jody Edwards, a cousin of the bridegroom and Miss Stacie Esplin, a niece of the bride, wore white dresses with yellow flocked daisys on them and a yellow velvet sah. The attendants carried parasols to match their dresses. Ross Cummings was best man and the ushering was done by Marvin Cummings, Brent Esplin, Karl Esplin, and Cleve Christensen. Mrs. Esplin wore a blue dress with a yellow glamelia corsage and Mrs. Cummings wore a peach dress with a yellow elamelia rnrsacp. 1 1 i W) 'SH II S MR. AND MRS. MICHAEL C. CUMMINGS Mrs. Richard Stucki, Mrs. Elmo Heap, and Mrs. Haymer D. Morris were hostesses for the evening and music was furnished by Elaine Hatch and Liz Corry. Those in the gift room included Terri Brad-shaw, Brad-shaw, Lynette Cowley, Sue Esplin, and Pauline Esplin. The bride chose a blue pants suit for her going away costume. They honeymooned at Zions. Prior to the wedding the bride was feted at a kitchen shower given by RoAnn Morris, Mor-ris, Gaye Stucki, Janis Urie, and Artis Petty. The bride graduated from Cedar High in 1970 and has been attending SUSC for the past year where she has been a member of A Cappella Choir and Lambda Delta Sigma. ' The bridegroom' graduated from Millard High in 1965 and will graduate from SUSC this week. He served a mission in the Central Atlantic States and is a member of Delta Phi fraternity. |
