Show Miss Anne Bischoff becomes bride in temple ceremony Douglas Cox, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin C. Cox, claimed Miss Anne Bischoff as his bride in rites solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple June 27. O. Lesle Stone who Is president presi-dent of the Salt Lake Temple and a great uncle to the bridegroom bride-groom traveled to Logan to perform the double ring ceremony. cere-mony. The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Dean Edward Bischoff, Bis-choff, Smithfield. A reception honoring the newlyweds was held that same evening in the Smith-field Smith-field Second Ward Church. The hall was decorated in a Hawai. ian theme and the flowers and attendants' dresses fol- lowed the same theme. The bridegroom wore the traditional tradition-al lei worn by Hawaiian bridegrooms. bride-grooms. The bride wore a traditional floor length dress of satin brocade. bro-cade. She carrier a bouquet of three gardenias and white roses. Her circular veil was attached to a head piece of three satin brocade roses. Mrs. Bill (Linda) Olson was matron of honor and Miss Jane Bischoff was maid of honor. Miss Ellen Bischoff, Mrs. Kenneth (Mary Ellen) Bischoff, and Miss Barbara Cox were bridesmaids. The attendants at-tendants wore pink flowered formal mumus with a pink carnation in fneir hair. John Reid Cox was best man and Ken French and Jon Bischoff ushered. Both Mrs. Bischoff and Mrs. Cox wore long pink serano dresses with orchid leis. The newlyweds spent five days honeymooning in Los Angeles. The bride is a graduate of Skyview High School and has one more quarter to complete at USU. She attended one summer session at the Church College in Hawaii. The bridegroom graduated from Cedar High School, has attended CSU, and received his B. S. degree from BYU. He is presently in the U. S. Army Medical Corp. He will report to Fort Ord, Calif, in August prior to an asignment in Viet-nait. Viet-nait. His bride will continue her studes at USU. |
