Following the reception Hie newlyweds left for their honeymoon hon-eymoon in Alabama. Mr. and Mrs. VVhatcott and Mr. and Mrs. Riddle also traveled to Linden, Alabama wl'ere they were guests of the bride's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Russel Tyre, On July 1st Mr, and Mrs. Tyre hosted n dinner for the wedding party at the Holiday Inn. That evening they honored hon-ored the bride and bridegroom at a reception held in the beautiful colonial mansion" of the bride's uncle and aunt in Selma, Alabama. Guests from the surrounding area were greeted by the newlyweds and their parents. Danny Tyre, the bride's broth, er, stoofl as best man for the bridegroom. The bridesmaids and flower girls were close friends of the bride. The large beautifull decorated decor-ated wedding cake was cut and served to the guests along with other refreshments from the elegant serving table. Don E. President Iludjjer Atkln officiated of-ficiated at the double ring ceremony which wa.s witnessed wit-nessed by 21 relatives and friends. Following the ceremony, the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Whaieott, Cedar City hosted a wedding dinner ut Atkins Sugar Loaf Cafe. That same evening the bride and bridegroom greeted guests at a reception given by Mr. and Mrs, Whatcott at the LDS Institute of Religion In Cedar City. Mrs. Larry LaPray, Sacramento, Sacra-mento, Calif., wa.s matron of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids Brides-maids were Miss Ann .('anna-flay, .('anna-flay, Salt Lake Cily; Miss Kathl Ricksecker, San Francisco; Francis-co; and Miss Jeanne Nieman, Chula Vista, Calif. Misses Shelly Baldwin and Francine Fullmer, nieces of the bridegroom, bride-groom, were flower girls. The matron of honor and flower girls wore pink and the bridesmaids wore lavender. Dennis Smith, Oakley, Idaho, Ida-ho, was best man, He was a missionary companion to the bridegroom when they were in England on missions for the LDS Church. Ushers were Ben Baldwin, Don Wiley, Logan; and Dan Pearce, Ogden. The bride designed and fashioned her gown of crystal-lne crystal-lne satin and embroidered lace which she had brought from Switzerland. It featured an empire waistline and train. The bouffaunt veil of illusion was edged with lace. She carried car-ried a white and lavender orchid or-chid encircled by white chrysanthemums chry-santhemums fringed by lavender laven-der carnations.
