Hunt in rites solemnized in the St. George Temple July 17. Pres. Boyack officiated at the double ring ceremony. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Darrell H. Matthews, 305 So. 100 W.; and the bridegroom bride-groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray V. Hunt, Beryl. Following the ceremony a dinner was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sidney J. Atkin At-kin of St. George. That same evening the newlyweds new-lyweds were feted at a reception recep-tion at the Cedar West Stake House. Decorations of a Hawaiian Haw-aiian theme included minia- ception were grandparents of the bride, Mrs. George Camn-bell, Camn-bell, Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse K. Mattnews, Liberty, Idaho. Other out of town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Reed Haddock, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Thom-as Preston, Bloomington, Idaho; Ida-ho; Mrs. Henry Ketchie, Dee Dee Ketchie, Mr. and Mrs. Wiley M. Campbell, Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. George Papa-Dakis, Papa-Dakis, Salt Lake City; Jennie Hunt, Parma, Idaho; Mr. and Mrs. John Bundy, Fredonia, Arizona; and Mr. and Mrs. Dee Hunt, Ivin, Utah. Eleven brothers and sisters of the bridegroom attended the wedding. Mr. David Hunt, Quincy, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Addis, Las Vegas, Nev.; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hunt, recently of Hawaii; Mr. and Mrs. Russell Hunt, Mesa, Ariz.; Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Proctor, Panguitch; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Hunt and Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Atkin, St. George; Stanley Hunt, Magna; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Bracken, Mr. Allen Al-len Hunt, Beryl; and Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Hunt, Cedar. Pre-nuptial courtesies include in-clude a kitchen shower given by Shauna Leslie and members mem-bers of the SUSC housing of- fin whfvro the hrirl Viae hppn ture candelabra from Bolivia on the refreshment tables. The traditional white bridal gown of satin, lace and pearls with a detachable train was fashioned by the bride and her mother. The elbow length silk illusion veil was held by three organdy flowers with pearl trim. The bride's bouquet was centered with two white orchids. The bride and bridegroom wore crown flower leis. Maili leis were worn by the best man and maid of honor. These were sent from Hawaii by Bruce Hunt. Miss Dee Ann Matthews was maid of honor and attendants at-tendants were: Mrs. James Tullis, Miss Nola Nielson, and employed. Mrs. James Tullis and Marlene Jolley were hostesses hos-tesses of the miscellaneous shower. The bride attended Cedar City High School where she was an FHA member and Pep Club president-elect. She moved to LaPaz, Bolivia for her senior year where she graduatd from the American Cooperative School. While there she was class vice president, pres-ident, and active in Tri HiY and on the yearbook staff. She has attended USU and is a June graduate of SUSC. She was a member of the Art Guild and the SUEA. The bridegroom graduated from Enterprise High School where he was student body resident. He has attended Dixie College and is a June graduate with high honors at SUSC. He has filled a Texas Mission and he recently returned re-turned from a five month stay n Hawai'. They will make their home 'n Panaca where they are em. ployed by the Lincoln County '3hool District. Miss Solveig Brandt. They wore floor length yellow and hlue mumus with a wide ruffle ruf-fle at the lower edge. Their flowers from Hawaii were white carnation leis with blue tips. . Best man was brother of the bridegroom, Allen Hunt. Ushers Ush-ers were James Tullis, Don Reid, Wendell Brown, and Stan Bronson. The bride's mother wore a shaded beige double knit dress with a blue tipped white camion cam-ion lei. The bridegroom' mother wore a blue linen dress with a yellow tipped white carnation lei. At the guest book was Mrs. Don Reid. Hostesses were Shirley Shir-ley and Tamara Hunt. Mrs. Dale W. DeMille and Miss Dorothy DeLapp served the refreshments assisted by nieces of the bridegroom, Kathy, Melina, and Lacy Addis; Ad-dis; Lucinda, Brenda, and Shannon Hunt; Shauna, Natalie, Nat-alie, and Tracy Atkin. Barbara Haddock also assisted. The three-tiered wedding cake was made by the bridegroom's bride-groom's sister, Mrs. Marvin Bracken. At the gift table were Mrs. George Jolley and daughters, Marlene and Sharon. They wore Hawaiian mumus acquired ac-quired during a recent two year stay in Hawaii. Gift bearers were Drew, a brother of the bride, and Daren Haddock, Had-dock, a cousin of the bride. Music for dancing was by the Quentin Nissan orchestra from Washington. The program included master mast-er of ceremonies, Simon Bronson; Bron-son; Stan Bronson, Miss Judy Brown, Bonnie Eksund, Allen Hunt and Leonie Wood with their guitars and songs. Marlene Mar-lene Jolley sang accompanied by her mother at the piano. Sentiments were expressed by th bride and bridegroom. After the final dance the newlyweds left for a six day honeymoon. The bride wore a gold velour dress accented by a white and gold striped sash. Honored guests at the re- |
