Show SUSC 1 970 graduate receives research assistanfship W. Douglas Gubler, 1970 graduate in Botany from Southern Utah State College, has received a research as-sistantship as-sistantship from University of Arkansas, it was announced by Dr. Wesley P. Larsen, dean of the SUSC School of Sciences. Mr. Gublcr began work on his first research project on July 1. He will be associated with Dr. Frank Tainter from the University of Minnesota on a study regarding oak wilt fungus. In his new position Mr. Gublcr Gub-lcr will have full time staff status at the university. However, How-ever, he will have the opportunity oppor-tunity to take one course per semester toward an advanced degree. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. June Gubler, Santa Clara. |
