Show Laurel Esplin Weds ElrodLeany in St. George Ceremony St.George was the scene, Dec. 27 of the marriage of Miss Laur el Esplin and Elrod C. Leany. President Harold Snow performed perform-ed the rites, followed by a reception re-ception at the First ward chapel. The bride's gown was of white slipper satin with a chantilly lace veil with orange blossoms. Best man duties were performed per-formed by Bert Leany, brother of the groom. Janice Heywood and Aleen Gibson were bridesmaids. Mrs. Vernal Josephson, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Little Patsy Esplin and Mamie Josephson, nieces of the bride, were the flower girls. Also in the receiving line were Mrs. Francis S. Leany and Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Esplin, parents of the newly-weds. newly-weds. The gift room was in charge of Miss Madelon Isom, Miss Barbara Bar-bara Sherratt, Miss Ruth Leany, and Mrs. Douglas Grimshaw. Assisting As-sisting during the refreshment hour were Miss Lelia Lawrence, Miss Jane Adams, Miss Elaine Lamoreaux, Mrs. R. J. Overson, Mrs. Harold Call and Mrs. Bert Leany. A program was given with Kent C. Esplin as master of ceremonies. cere-monies. The remainder of the evening was spent in dancing. After a short honeymoon In Las Vegas the newly married couple returned to Provo where they are both attending the B. Y. U. |
